The Mangawhai Tavern is a heritage listed building in Kaipara. Refurbishment was required on the bar and front facade. The objective was to create an open and inviting space for the community and the business owners, whilst re-establishing the original beauty of the building after years of its charm being eroded through unsympathetic alterations.
